We are now ready to kick on to the next project! It’s big, ambitious and a serious challenge!

Project 2028

As the charity grows in scale and impact, we are now planning our next major initiative: The Malcolm Whales Centre.

The Vision

To purchase and maintain a building in the centre of Huntingdon, ideally located near the train and bus stations. This central location with additional easy access to the A14/A1 will be able to support access to thousands of people from the East of England; where most of our fundraising and school partnerships are based.

Purpose

Cambridgeshire is currently served by the Wellbeing Centre in Peterborough and the Maggie’s Centre in Cambridge. Our goal is to further enhance support for those affected by cancer by creating a new facility that:

  • Is owned and maintained by TMWF
  • Welcomes other charities to offer their services from within the centre
  • Acts as a hub for wellbeing, support, respite, and collaboration

Timeline & Target

We are targeting £500,000 specifically for the development of The Malcolm Whales Centre over the next 3 yearsthis is extremely ambitious and realistically not possible in that timescale without your support.

How You Can Help

  • Engage with us on social media: Like, share, and comment to boost visibility

Additional thoughts

We are in the early stages of planning, and our vision will continue to evolve over the coming years. This project is about pushing boundaries daring to see what is achievable and relying heavily on our incredible supporters – current and those that are about to join us!

Truly any support — big or small — is deeply appreciated.

For now, the message is simple:

HELP US to Fundraise, fundraise, fundraise.
